A Kahoot alternative for team building

Kahoot! is built for quizzes you write and present. For a team social you usually want the opposite: games that are ready to play, with nothing to prepare or present. TeamBridge has live trivia in 24 categories and 30 more team games, played from one link on everyone’s own screen.

Trivia is included with a TeamBridge pass. Codenames, Scribble and five other games are free to play.

When to use which

  • Kahoot! for training

If you need your own questions (onboarding facts, product training, a policy refresher), a quiz tool is the right fit.

  • TeamBridge for team building

When the goal is to laugh together for 15 minutes, ready-made games beat a quiz you have to write.

  • Mix trivia with other games

Start with 10 trivia questions, then switch to Four Groups or This or That from the same lobby.

  • Everyone on their own screen

Nobody squints at a shared screen, and people on phones see the questions as clearly as the host.

Questions

What is a good Kahoot alternative for team building?

For a team social, ready-made games work better than a quiz tool. TeamBridge has live Trivia in 24 categories and 30 more team games, played from one link in Zoom, Teams or Meet.

Do I need to write questions?

No. Trivia questions come from 24 categories at three difficulty levels; you pick the categories and how many questions.

Can I add my own questions?

Not at the moment. If you need your own questions, a quiz tool like Kahoot! is the better fit; TeamBridge is for ready-made team games.

Is it free?

Codenames, Scribble, Two Truths, One Lie and four more games are free to play. Trivia and the other premium games are included with a TeamBridge pass.

How many people can play?

Trivia and This or That take 2 to 100 players, and Four Groups up to 50. Each card shows the range.
