How it works in a Zoom meeting

  1. Step 1

    Open a game

Pick a game on TeamBridge and click Start. You get a lobby with its own link.

  2. Step 2

Paste the link in the Zoom chat

Everyone opens it in a browser tab next to Zoom, picks a name and an avatar, and appears in the lobby.

  3. Step 3

    Play in gallery view

Keep Zoom in gallery view for the reactions; the game runs in the browser. Most games take 5 to 15 minutes.

Tips for games on Zoom

  • Share your screen only while people join

Showing the lobby helps people see who’s in. Stop sharing once the game starts: everyone has the game on their own screen.

  • Use breakout rooms for big groups

With 30+ people, open one lobby per breakout room and post each link in its room. Trivia and This or That also work with everyone together.

  • Phones are fine

People can stay on Zoom on their laptop and play on their phone, which keeps the video big.

  • Put it in the invite

Add the game to the meeting agenda so people join with a minute to spare and a working browser.

Questions

Do we need a Zoom app?

No. TeamBridge runs in the browser, so there is no Zoom App to install or approve. Paste the lobby link in the Zoom chat.

Do I have to share my screen?

No. Everyone sees the game on their own device. Some hosts share the lobby while people join, then stop sharing.

Can we use breakout rooms?

Yes. Open a lobby per breakout room and share each link in its room; each group plays its own game.

How many coworkers can play?

It depends on the game: Codenames is best for 4 to 10, Scribble takes up to 100, and Fake Artist and Type Racer work for up to 200. Each card shows the range.

Are the games free?

Seven games are free to play, including Scribble, Codenames and Two Truths, One Lie. Premium games are included with a TeamBridge pass.
