Do players need an account or a download?

No. Players open your link in their browser, on a laptop or a phone, type a name and play. Nothing to install. Only the host signs up, for free, with Google or email.

Players never need an account or a pass. The host’s free account holds the credits or the pass.

Who needs what

  • Players

Nothing but the link and a name. They never need an account, a seat or a pass.

  • The host

A free account, with Google or an email address. It holds the credits for free games, or your pass.

  • Whoever pays

Their own account: the pass goes on it. Stripe takes the payment, so your card details never reach TeamBridge or your teammates.

  • Teammates who host

With a pass, invite teammates to your team from your team page. Each signs up with their own email, and any of them can host.

Questions

Do players need to sign up or download anything?

No. Players open your invite link in the browser on a laptop or phone and type a name. Only the host has an account.

Does each person need their own account?

Only the people who host. Players join with a name. If several people will host with your pass, each signs up with their own email (or Google) and you invite them to your team.

Can my teammates see my payment details?

No. Stripe takes the payment; your card details never reach TeamBridge or your teammates.

Can people join from a phone?

Yes. The same link works in a phone browser, with nothing to install.

Does a person or an AI run the games?

Neither: the game runs itself. It explains the rules, runs the timer and keeps score, and one of you hosts by starting it.

How do I add my team?

For a game, just share the lobby link: anyone with it can join. With a pass, invite teammates to your team from your team page so they can host too.
